Dr. Matt LeMay, DAOM, CA
Dr. Matt LeMay was born and raised in the Green Bay area. He completed a four-year Master's in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine (MAcOM) at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine and started practicing in Seattle in 2010. He then went on to complete a Doctorate in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine (DAOM) specializing in advanced pain management, internal medicine, and complementary oncology with a strong background in research design and literacy, biomedical, herbal, and nutritional research, traditional osteopathy, and modern naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University. Both schools are considered top-tier in complementary and integrative medicine. He moved back to Green Bay in 2014 to be closer to friends and family and share this medicine with the community.
Dr. Matt speaks and reads Chinese and has also taken several trips to China for further study in medicine, Taiji (Tai Chi) and qigong. He is certified to teach and practice qigong by the international branch of Henan Medical University and the Mount Emei School of Zen TCM. He is an avid reader of science, especially physics, biology, and of course medicine, loves to hike and bike, and is active in the community.
Dr. Matt's mission is to help people live longer, healthier, and happier lives with integrative medicine, and especially to support people in awakening their inner physician through life nourishing practices and qigong. He has been practicing for over 10 years and considers himself a continuing student of this deep medical tradition.
